Our expertise in the preparation of Market Value for Personal Perperty-Machinery and Equipment valuations derives from our commitment to professionalism and to the extensive valuation experience of our appraisers.  Our work product and conclusions conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and American Society of Appraisers principles.  The scope of our reports can reflect current market conditions, retrospective values based on an earlier appraisal date, or projected residual values at a future date as defined in those reports.

We provide appraisals under all American Society of Appraisers recognized definitions of value.  Our appraisals commonly employ one or more definitions in a range from Fair Market Value in Continued Use to Forced Liquidation Value.  The former is commonly used in allocation of purchase or in dissolution of a partnership operating as a going concern.  

Our reports can be fully integrated with an overarching Business Valuation analysis prepared by our BV appraisers.  This same in-house cooperation would also occur, for example, in preparation of an Impairment Opinion, or certain residual value analysis for contemplated Leasing projects.  

Forced Liquidation Value or Orderly Liquidation Value reports are typically required by asset based lenders in financing arrangements.  Our wide ranging data collection efforts, together with our understanding of the liquidation process, position us to carry out work across our client target sector.  

A range of other market value definitions may be appropriate under other circumstances.  We discuss these options as we dialog with clients prior to contracting for a project.  All parties are best served by a clear understanding of the project from the outset.  As our work progresses, we work to resolve issues as they arise in order to assure a smooth flow and to avoid late stage complications.
